Rakuten Kobo - Reviews and experiences

Bought this Kobo because my old Kindle was getting heavy on my sore shoulders after a move — needed something lighter. Delivery was quick, came in a neat box, and setup was painless (I’m not very techy). Screen is clear and it’s comfy to hold. Charging cable failed after a few weeks though, which was annoying; customer support helped but it took a bit. Otherwise I’m sticking with it.

I recently got myself a new e-reader and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. It works well and gives me access to tons of books which is awesome. But, there are a few things that bug me about it. One big one is how slow it is when it syncs and updates every time I turn it on. Also, sometimes the books I've downloaded just disappear and I have to download them all over again, especially annoying when I don't have Wi-Fi. Another problem I've had is with changing my email, it just doesn't seem to work right and dealing with customer service about it has been a headache. But, even with these issues, the e-reader has been a great way for me to read and enjoy books.
