Short end of the month

Service

I renewed what I thought was a full month of AutoCAD on July 19, only to get an email a few days later saying my access would end on July 29. So yeah, I paid for 30 days and ended up with about 10. That’s the main thing that bugs me — the billing system kept an old renewal date from a previous purchase and didn’t update it when I paid again. I actually first noticed the message because a coworker texted me — I’d even told them to try the same subscription a week earlier — and then we both had to double-check what was going on. I called support and the rep basically shrugged and told me to contact my bank for a refund. I had to explain that the money is with the company now, banks don’t just reverse random charges on request. The agent wouldn’t extend the expiry or refund directly, no workaround offered. There’s a bit of enthusiasm left because the product itself works fine when you have access, but the billing and service handling felt clumsy and dismissive. I’ll be more careful next time and warn others.
