Dinner event reservation
The dinner event I booked got cancelled by the host, but then EatWith went ahead and charged me twice for it! I tried emailing them a bunch of times, but never heard back from them. They keep saying they're insured, but I wasn't even able to make a claim for that extra charge they snuck in. Total scam, that EatWith!
Unique dining experience
I can't believe how amazing that dinner was! I just went to this awesome dining event I found online, and it was even better than I expected. I got to meet new people, chat with the host, hear some cool stories, and, of course, eat some incredible food. It was such a unique experience that I would definitely suggest it to anyone who wants to try something new and unforgettable.
Dinner experience at a Parisian's house
Wow, having dinner at a Parisian's house sounds so cool, eh! Their home must have been super cute and cozy. It must have been amazing to chat with them and feel like you were hanging out with friends. And the food! Apricot pie with homemade crust? Yum! I wish I could taste that. This sounds like the best part of a trip to Europe, eh. I need to find something like that for my next adventure, for sure.
My dinner reservation
I tried to book a dinner on this website, and man, it was so confusing! The stars for the reviews look basically the same color, so I can't really tell if it's a good rating or a bad one. And when I filter by date, they show me dinners that are already sold out! Like, what's even the point? They really need to make it easier to find stuff. Plus, the map is completely useless, they should just copy AirBnB already. And why are they showing me dinners in Epsom when I specifically searched for London? It's so silly! I just gave up and went somewhere else to eat.
Local home-cooked meal experience
I got to go to this cool thing where you have a home-cooked meal at someone's house by booking it online. It was such a neat experience to eat real local food in a cozy home that wasn't mine. The food was so yummy and you could tell it was made with love. The atmosphere was so friendly and inviting, and it was awesome to meet new folks and make connections. All in all, it was cheaper and cozier than going out to eat at a restaurant.
Gastronomic adventures
I had such a great time using this platform to try out all kinds of unique dining experiences. It really showed me a whole new world of food adventures, and I totally recommend it to anyone who loves food and wants to make awesome connections and learn about different cultures through food.
Best way to discover new friends
I had a blast trying out this social dining app! I went over to a stranger's place for dinner, and it was awesome! We chatted about our top favorite foods and even exchanged recipes. It felt a bit weird at the start, but it turned out to be a really great time!
Unique dining experiences
I've used this platform a bunch of times to try out different dining experiences, and every time has been amazing. The hosts I've met through EatWith have been great, sharing their stories and making me feel right at home while I enjoy some tasty food. I can't wait to sign up for one of their cooking classes down the road.
Yummy food in Barcelona
I went to this spot in Barcelona, and it was really awesome! The food was delicious, and I had a blast. The only downside was that their English wasn't the greatest, but thankfully their daughter was able to help out. I've also checked out another EatWith in Amsterdam, and it was amazing as well! EatWith is seriously so good, I totally recommend it 😊
Shared dinner experience through a dining platform
Lately, I got to join in on this cool dinner thing through an online dining app where you get to eat with locals. It was super interesting and fun trying out authentic local food in a new place. The whole experience was totally worth it and definitely made my trip more special.
Booking experience
So, I tried this EatWith thing for the first time, eh? I booked a host and they cancelled on me real quick - which is a bummer, but oh well, right? But then EatWith went and took my money from my card and said they'd give it back in, like, 10 whole days! Not cool, man. So I was like, okay, let me try again and booked another host. AND THAT ONE CANCELLED TOO! EatWith took my money AGAIN and said wait another 10 days. Like, seriously? They can't just take people's money like that and hold onto it for so long! Feels a bit sketchy, you know? So, be careful when booking with them, folks.
Hosting my first dinner in my own home
I had my first dinner party at home and it was a blast! I met some new folks from different parts of the world and we shared stories, traditions, and way of life. It was really cool and I'm excited to do it again.
Food experience with locals
Why bother with a fancy restaurant when you can have a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable food experience with locals? EatWith makes it super simple to link up with local chefs for a meal that is way better than any restaurant vibe. I definitely suggest giving it a try!
Milan pizza and gelato cooking class
I was so excited to do this Milan pizza and gelato cooking class on EatWith. But, right before I was gonna head out, I got an email saying the class was cancelled, no reason given. I was so let down and annoyed by this sudden change of plans. I was really looking forward to learning how to make real Milanese pizza and gelato. The way they handled it was not cool at all, so unprofessional. It really left a bad impression on me. I thought EatWith was better than that. Now I'm gonna think twice before booking with them again.
Side income hosting,
I used to really enjoy hosting on this platform, but things have gone sour lately. I worked hard to promote the site at the beginning, but it felt like nobody noticed. The communication with the staff wasn't great and my dinners just weren't selling like they used to. And after COVID hit, it's like they disappeared off the face of the earth. Having to constantly redo photos and join Viator was just a huge hassle and time suck. All in all, it was a big waste of time and way too stressful for me.
Havin' a blast with new friends
I had such a great time at this place, met some amazing people thanks to EatWith. The food was so yummy, we had a blast, and I would totally do it all over again.
Paella cooking class in Barcelona
I recently took part in a paella cooking class in Barcelona and it was such an amazing experience! I can't even put into words how much I enjoyed it. The host was fantastic, the atmosphere was super friendly, and it went above and beyond my expectations. The class was very hands-on and I got to learn a lot about traditional Spanish cooking and cuisine. The host was so passionate and really knew their stuff about paella, which made the whole thing both educational and fun. The ingredients were all fresh and top-notch, so the final product was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this paella cooking class to anyone visiting Barcelona who wants to really get a taste of the local culinary scene.
European and American culinary experiences
It's so awesome to meet new people while you're traveling and have amazing experiences together. I've been lucky enough to go to all kinds of events in both Europe and the US, and every time I've had a blast hanging out with locals who really love their culture and food. Whether it's cooking up old family recipes or listening to personal stories, every chat has left me feeling super happy and motivated. I totally suggest this platform for anyone who wants to really connect with a place they're visiting.
