Wasn't sure at first

Service

Right in the middle of my commute I remember thinking, huh, this actually works — after the whole mess. I sent back my brand new Razr because it kept flipping screens; they offered a refurbished unit, I rolled my eyes, but the swap surprised me. It runs smoother, battery made it through a full day of calls and podcasts, and the camera is sharper than I expected. I use it for work and quick snaps, and yeah, I'm relieved.

Backup phone, what a saga

Price

I grabbed a backup phone because my husband had to send his in — couldn't be without a phone for work, not for five days. The repair quote was $415.00 to replace a cracked screen, honestly felt like a joke. They did fix it and the screen looks and feels great, touch is snappy, colours okay — still annoyed about the price and the hassle, but I'm a little relieved it actually works now.

Tip gone wrong

Stability

avoid this one — the Moto G Power 5G annoyed me from day one. A co-worker suggested it and I saw a deal in the store, so I tried it. At first it seemed okay, but it keeps closing all my tabs whenever I open email, forces me to sign back into pages I was already on, and the constant reloads are maddening. Felt like I was babysitting a clumsy phone, which is almost funny but mostly just irritating.

Frozen at the café

Stability

I was halfway through a latte when the first freeze hit. I hesitated before buying — online reviews were messy but the price looked good. Turned out it's crashy, sluggish and unpredictable. I need my phone for work, so having it dead or frozen is a nightmare. Customer service told me to send it in and then, believe it or not, suggested I take time off. Ridiculous. On the bright side the battery actually goes all day and the camera surprised me. Mixed bag. Won't buy again.

Replacement phone trouble

Overall

this has put me off buying anything from them again, and I’m telling people at work to be cautious.

Fold-and-flop, but nice while it lasted

Stability

I liked how this thing felt — solid in the hand, nice weight, and it slid into my belt carrier like it belonged there. Used it a year, no drops, kept it clean, then a black dot appeared with a green line and, yep, the inner screen went completely dark right after warranty. Weirdly I could still call with the outer display when folded, so it wasn't totally dead. Frustrating, I admit, and customer support was slow-ish, but the hinge and the feel were pretty great while they lasted. Skeptical now, but I do miss it.

Folded it like always, screen went dark — but it’s repairable

Service

I’m glad it worked out in the end, even though the whole thing annoyed me. I had this Razr+ for just over a year and at first it was great (sleek, fun to fold). Then one normal flip and the lower half of the screen went black — taps did nothing. Warranty had lapsed and support told me scratches count as physical damage, so void. I ended up swapping the screen myself/with a local shop and it runs again, so relieved, but trust shaken.
