Vertoe - Reviews and experiences

Unluckily, the place where I booked to store our bags was not helpful at all. They told us they stopped working with the company that provides the service three months ago, so they couldn't take our bags. We tried to get help, but they refused to give us our money back. It really ruined our last day in Tokyo and we were so annoyed and let down. I'd suggest being cautious if you plan on using this service in the future.

I had to stash my backpacks while exploring Barcelona, so I decided to give Vertoe a try. I paid online, thinking I'd get a good locker storage spot, but instead, they sent me to some shady corner store. The guy working there was acting all suspicious and wanted me to just drop off my bags without even letting me see the lockers first. When I insisted on checking out the lockers, he got all defensive and pointed downstairs where I could tell there were no lockers. I wasn't about to leave my stuff there, so I bounced. But then Vertoe straight up refused to give me back my cash. Eventually, I found a legit locker storage joint nearby that was way cheaper. Vertoe is definitely a scam, and I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole again. They care more about making money than keeping your stuff safe and charge way too much for sketchy service. Steer clear of them and go with a trusted locker storage spot instead.

I reserved a storage spot close by, but when I dropped off my stuff, I had to deal with the most unpleasant guy ever. He took my bags to a sketchy area at the back of the store. When I asked about when they closed, he was all over the place with his answers and not very helpful at all. The Vertoe customer service wasn't great either – they kept pushing me to leave my bags despite me worrying about their safety. After a bunch of back and forth, I finally got my money back, but I'll steer clear of this service in the future. Stay away at all costs!

3:30 in the afternoon. The cashiers at the store were really unhelpful, which just made the whole situation even worse. I ended up having to pay twice for several wrong bookings, which was such a waste of both my time and money.
