Follow-upI wouldn’t recommend them for anything that needs quick support right now. I first came across them on a hosting comparison thread and I even tipped a couple of coworkers to try them — happens that way, you find a good deal and you tell people. At the start they were genuinely helpful and it made onboarding smooth; I’m actually grateful for that, it got us up and running. Lately though, support has shifted to handing out help-page links for nearly everything. So a problem that used to be fixed in a few minutes becomes an hour of reading and fiddling with instructions, and sometimes the suggested external page won’t load at all. That’s the main thing that pushed me to stop recommending them. The control panel access is another annoyance — not obvious, hidden under a help article, or buried in a slow-loading link. You shouldn’t need a scavenger hunt to find basic admin controls. I’ve tried to be patient, assuming rapid growth and stretched staff, and I apologised in one ticket if our messages sounded terse — didn’t help, the follow-up just stopped. What’s striking is the change: same company, different response model. When support was hands-on they’d have scored a solid five from us; now it’s closer to the sort of service where you’re left wondering if your ticket was read. I do appreciate their original responsiveness and feel bad that the tone of our complaints may have come across harsh — that wasn’t the aim — but silence makes the whole experience worse. If you’re comfortable troubleshooting on your own, their prices and uptime might still work, and they can be fine for straightforward setups. If you expect any back-and-forth or explain-it-like-I’m-five help, look elsewhere or at least be prepared for delays and link-based replies. In short, we liked them and were happy to recommend them at first, but don’t expect the same level of hands-on support anymore. Maybe they’ll sort it out; I hope so, because the idea of them going downhill is a shame.

For me, the merge started rough but ended with a positive note. I’m happy I stuck it out and glad the people on the other end actually helped finish the job. So, thanks for sorting it — I’m breathing easier now and will keep an eye on renewals, but right now I’m satisfied.
