Annoying VPN
Annoying VPN
App & PortalSo, I tried using this VPN and it was honestly the worst. I couldn't even finish their stupid survey because it kept kicking me out! Seriously, I just wanted to give my feedback but I guess they didn't want it. Ugh. Anyways, I'm going back to Nord VPN because at least that actually works.
Shadowsocks not supported by Android app
Shadowsocks not supported by Android app
App & PortalThe Android app doesn't support the Shadowsocks protocol, and the speed is pretty slow at just 11 Mbps. The WireGuard profile is dynamic, but it's kind of useless without PIA's app. And to top it off, the Helpdesk doesn't work with Firefox browser. Overall, the support was pretty disappointing.
VPN with auto launch feature
VPN with auto launch feature
App & PortalI picked up this VPN to use on my PC, Android phone, and Firestick, and it's awesome on all of 'em. The auto launch feature is super handy 'cause you don't gotta remember to turn it on every time. Plus, it's great that you can set it up on other devices like Mac and routers. All in all, I'm really pleased with my purchase and the service I'm gettin'.
Linux user download
Linux user download
App & PortalAs a new Linux user, I gotta say the download instructions were super easy to follow - educational and to the point without being too wordy. The program boots up real quick and smooth, with a bunch of great server options to choose from. All in all, bravo on a job well done!
About Private Internet Access
Private Internet Access (PIA) is a virtual private network (VPN) service provider that offers online privacy and security solutions to its users. The company was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA. PIA provides encrypted VPN tunnels that allow individuals to browse the internet securely, shield their internet activity from prying eyes, and bypass geo-restrictions. The service operates servers in numerous countries worldwide, allowing users to obscure their real IP addresses and appear as though they are accessing the internet from a different location. PIA emphasizes a strong commitment to user privacy, offering features like a strict no-logs policy, which ensures that the company does not collect or retain any user data related to their online activities while connected to the VPN.
