ReliabilityI had a really bad time trying to pay for my subscription on this photo storage site. They sent me an email saying they would delete all my photos and videos if I didn't pay up. I was suspicious at first, so I checked the email to make sure it wasn't a scam, then I went to the website. When I logged in, they only gave me two payment options and I couldn't access any of my stuff. Even though I picked a plan and paid, they told me my account was already deactivated. I lost all my pictures and videos, and it was a super frustrating and disappointing experience. I felt like I got ripped off and I'm not happy about it.

ReliabilityI've been using this platform for a while now, and I'm really disappointed with the way things are going. I keep getting emails threatening to delete my photos because they don't support free accounts anymore. Trying to get my photos back has been a total nightmare. The steps to stop the deletion don't even seem to work - I can't even log in half the time. It looks like you have to pay to get your account back, download your files, and actually delete your account. Good thing I had all my files saved somewhere else, so I didn't lose anything. There are way better options out there than this platform, and I really hope nobody feels forced to give them any money in the future.

ReliabilityI was totally caught off guard when my account got shut down out of the blue, no heads up or anything from the service. I was so annoyed and let down because I couldn't get into my account stuff without shelling out some cash. Really bummed out by how Photobucket dealt with this mess, didn't seem to care about us customers at all.
About Photobucket
Photobucket is an American image hosting and video hosting website, web services suite, and online community dedicated to preserving and sharing the entire photo and video lifecycle. Founded in 2003 by Alex Welch and Darren Crystal in Denver, Colorado, Photobucket provides its users with an interface to upload, share, link, and find photos, videos, and graphics. The service allows users to store thousands of digital images and videos for free, supporting widespread sharing across the internet, including on social media platforms and blogs. Over the years, Photobucket has undergone several changes in ownership and business models, including introducing a controversial pricing model in 2017 that restricted image linking and hosting for third-party websites without a substantial fee, which was widely criticized and subsequently dialed back. As of my last knowledge update, Photobucket continues to serve as a repository for millions of users' photos and videos, despite facing challenges from newer, more flexible image-sharing services.
