CommunicationI just bought some file transfer software from Laplink Software and I reached out to their chat support for help with transferring files from my old PC to the new one. Laplink said you don't need any old CDs/DVDs or serial numbers for the transfer, but turns out I did need all the registration numbers to use the transferred software. It was kind of a letdown and made the whole process feel like a waste of time and effort.
