That relief moment
4 reviews
Halfway through setting up my new PC I hit that annoying deactivation step, and for a minute I thought I'd be stuck on trial again. Then support actually answered with a quick remote tip and it worked — real relief. If you're swapping machines, deauthorize first; saved me a headache, honestly, they even followed up later to check.

Helped me sleep, then flaked

There was that night, boxes everywhere and neighbours drilling — the app actually helped me fall asleep for the first time in weeks, and I knew I was happy. A year later it kept stopping after about 20 seconds. I contacted the developer, no answer — pretty disappointing.

Slow support, decent delivery

By the time I finally heard back, it was more frustrating than helpful — the reply didn’t solve anything. Product arrived fine, but support felt non-existent; would tell others to check alternatives.

Barely acceptable, glad I tried

it wasn't perfect but not useless — it actually cut background noise enough for me to nap, so I'm glad I bought it. I needed something after a noisy move and my ears were hypersensitive. Support never replied about a refund and the app made things flatter; turning off the EQ fixed the sound a bit.

Saw it on a forum, tried to be helpful

I first spotted this equalizer on a tech forum and even tipped my brother to grab it — on Win10 it was great, honestly. After my move to Win11 half the stuff stopped working. Download was instant, no drama, but support? I emailed three times and got nothing. Frustrating, though the app still does a few neat tricks so I'm conflicted.

Android still has glitches and support can be slow, so buy in a sale and test your device first.

communication was poor and auto-renewal was confusing, so keep an eye on billing. Also save your receipts, just in case.

Solid upgrade
1 reviews
It's worth it — I'd pay full price. Bought Boom 3D on a promo last month. I use it every day for music, podcasts, Zoom calls and the odd movie. Wasn't sure about the company, so I was a bit sceptical. Hit a small install snag, support sorted it in minutes. The app is straightforward, sounds better than I expected, and I'm actually satisfied. Not flashy, just works.

Boom3D login hassle, good sound
1 reviews
Facebook logins were disabled and the app didn't recognise me. I sent about five messages to support but got nowhere, which felt like a nudge to buy again. Annoying for sure, but once installed the app runs great, so I'm glad it still delivers on audio quality.

Billing hiccup, finally sorted
8 reviews
I noticed an extra $15.99 charge during lunch and thought "not again" — I’d bought the app before. I first found this app in the App Store and had even told a coworker about it. I reached out to support and after a couple of back-and-forth emails someone actually handled it. The refund showed up and they followed up to confirm. Kind of a relief. Not flawless, but that moment when the money came back made me feel satisfied.

Paid premium, stuck in trial
4 reviews
I was halfway through thinking I’d been scammed when the app stayed in trial even though PayPal showed the payment. No activation code, no instant flip to premium — just an email asking to finish payment, which I already did. I hesitated to push the button at all, I’m picky about subscriptions after a couple of messy experiences with smaller vendors. I opened a support ticket, waited about two days, got a sensible reply and the account was switched over. Still annoying that it didn’t happen automatically, but the team fixed it and that eased my doubts. Will watch stability though.

Checkout felt off, and it got worse
22 reviews
the site acted like the payment failed so I clicked through twice, and my bank shows two charges. Tried to reach support, nothing back — the company seems to hide behind different names and no real contact. Worse, it broke audio sync when I streamed video; deleting it didn't fix the issue. So I'd warn friends to double-check bank statements and skip it.

Worth the fuss, mostly

glad I got it, though it took some messing around. A coworker showed me Boomr and I tipped my brother to try it too. Right away the sound was noticeably cleaner from my MacBook’s tiny speaker. The catch is volume — it seems to boost everything, so even at the lowest level my earbuds felt louder than I like. That was annoying for a while. I realised you can limit Boomr to specific apps, which helped a lot; I left it on for VLC and Music only. That’s a bit of a pain because the app list only shows programs that are open, so you have to open stuff to tweak it. Took me a few tries to get it trained, but now movies and tracks really sound more like a studio. Mildly critical, but honestly happy with the outcome. If you don’t mind fiddling for a bit, it’s worth it.

Mixed feelings about Boom 3D
1 reviews
it helped my music sound better, but the support side was frustrating. I bought Boom 3D a few years back and it delivers — more volume, tighter bass, and handy EQ presets for different genres. I started using it on an M1 Mac Mini running macOS 14.7.1 with desktop speakers plugged into the headphone jack, and I was pretty happy. Then I noticed that when I tap the volume keys on my Apple Magic Keyboard the sound just mutes instead of changing level, but only when Boom is running. Turn Boom off and the keys behave normally, so it points to Boom. I reached out to support, waited about ten days for a reply, got a suggestion to lock the output balance (didn't fix it) and after I said so they didn't follow up. They apologised when I asked about uninstalling but never asked why. Useful app, but the lacklustre support makes it annoying to keep.

Boom 3D

I recently bought Boom 3D on sale last month, and I gotta say, I'm super happy with it. Even if I paid full price, it would still be worth every penny. The company has a bunch of great apps, but I'm especially impressed with Boom 3D - it's top-notch quality and works really well. I did run into a little problem when I was installing it, but the customer service team was quick to help me out and fix it in no time. Overall, I'd definitely suggest this product to anyone looking for a good audio enhancer.

Software purchase

I've tried calling customer service a few times about the problems I've been having with the software I bought, but I keep getting slow and not very helpful answers. It's really frustrating to not get the help I need from a company that claims to be all about customer service. I agree with other folks who aren't happy with the support they've gotten. Customers should feel like they matter and that they'll get help when they need it. Next time you're looking for software, I'd suggest checking out other options.

I just bought some new software from this company and man, I ran into some issues with it being stuck in trial mode. I used to really like their stuff, but I keep running into this pesky problem where I have to deauthorize the old account every time I switch computers. It's getting pretty frustrating, tbh. Last time this happened, their customer service was MIA so I ended up having to solve the problem on my own. I think I'm just gonna go back to using free software like Equalizer APO for now.

Boom app

At first, I absolutely loved the Boom app, eh! It was super cool and made my music sound so amazing. But now, it's just not working properly, you know? After only 20 seconds, it stops playing my tunes. I tried reaching out to them but didn't hear a peep back. It's just not worth it, eh! Save your money and skip it.
