Vitamix - Reviews and experiences

After using it for 3 years, I started having problems with the container. I called customer service and got a replacement under warranty. But then, after 9 months, the replacement container also had issues, which made me really unhappy with the product. The customer service rep, Vicki, didn't admit that there was anything wrong with the product, which made the whole experience pretty disappointing.

I got my blender back in 2019 and it was working great for a bit. But then, the motor gave out after about 2.5 years, which was a huge disappointment. I reached out to customer service for help, but they still haven't been able to assist me. It's awesome for making smoothies and soups, but not the best when it comes to crushing ice or blending butter.

I really like my blender, but they tried to charge me even though it's still under warranty! Not cool, eh?

I had a really bad experience with the customer service at this company. My container broke, so I asked about getting a replacement. They told me I couldn't get one for free, even though they did that for other people. Some folks even got replacements when their warranty had already expired. Instead of a replacement, all they offered me was a lousy coupon. It's not fair that their policy isn't the same for everyone. It's like they don't really care about their customers. I thought they'd give better service considering the type of company they are.

I got this unit almost 10 years ago and lately, one of the containers had an issue. I gotta say, their customer service really impressed me when I called them up. They helped me out real quick and sent me a new container after checking the serial number. The price I paid for the product was kinda high at first, but considering how long-lasting and durable it is, I feel like I definitely got my money's worth. I've been using it every day since I bought it and it's outdone any similar products I've had before. All in all, I'm really happy with how well this unit performs and its quality.

I recently had to get a new jug for my blender that I got from your company. The replacement jug ended up being way pricier than I expected, costing quite a bit of cash. I was pretty bummed out to find that the quality of the new jug was way worse than the original one. The plastic used for the jug felt cheap and flimsy, and the lid was made of hard plastic instead of the rubbery material I was used to. It seems like the materials used for these replacement parts have gone downhill, but the prices are still high. I tried contacting your customer service team twice about this problem, but unfortunately, I didn't get a response. It's disappointing to see the quality of your products going down, especially considering your brand used to be known for making top-notch stuff.

During a tough time, Vitamix really came through with awesome customer service. They helped me quickly figure out and fix the problem with my blender. Their friendly and efficient help was a pleasant surprise, especially after dealing with other companies that didn't care. Vitamix went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and would keep coming back as a customer. I definitely suggest their products and service to anyone looking for a trustworthy blender.
