my husband had picked up a bunch of pieces for Valentine’s and I wasn’t loving a few, so I made the trip (about 65 km each way, yes I’m dramatic) to sort a return. That call was the moment I knew I was satisfied. She explained how they’d issue the store credit properly and even arranged to give me a printed record, so I didn’t feel like I’d left my stuff in limbo. Small detail that surprised me — when I went back they handed me a tiny polishing cloth and a note saying thanks for being patient. Totally unexpected, and it made the whole awkward first impression feel less personal. Now I wear a couple of the pieces almost every day — a little ring that’s become my go-to. It’s the kind of thing you don’t expect from a return situation: a messy start, then someone who follows up and makes it right. Not flawless, there was a weird moment of attitude, but the follow-through mattered. I’d go back, I already do, because their designs are what I reach for on busy mornings, and getting that call fixed it. So yeah, not perfect, but left happy and back to wearing my favourites.
