I control my two bedroom AC units with it every day; overall it's fine, but watch the subscriptions. Some useful features are behind a paywall — I thought they were standard. Ads scream "limited sale" all year, so that felt deceptive. Support has been helpful though, and offline e-mail alerts actually saved me once. Climate React can misbehave (turns an AC on but not off) — dev blamed sunlight on a painting, which… eh, odd. Overall, still.

the box had been opened and the unit was already registered to someone else. That was a bummer. I emailed support asking for a sealed replacement and haven't heard back yet. Still, device looks in decent shape and if they handle the swap I'd definitely keep recommending it — fingers crossed.

the app and hardware look nice and can play well with other devices. The downside: support and warranty handling sour the whole deal. So yeah, useful in some setups, but be ready to fight for proper help if it goes wrong.

my Truma unit didn’t talk at first and I did have to pester support a bit. That said, they actually helped and after a couple updates and one extra try it started working way better than I dared hope. Later I swapped in a different Dometic unit and, again, a hiccup, but the app and box adapted after a firmware push. So yeah, I was sceptical, turned pleasantly surprised — still room to improve, but overall pretty glad I bought it.
