PriceI almost talked myself out of buying one — the sticker shock is real. I kept thinking, do I need a $900-ish machine that eats $300 filters like they're snacks? But after a couple of months with one (and then another, because apparently once you start you go all in), my nagging doubts about performance pretty much evaporated. The air actually feels different in the room — fewer dusty smells, less morning sneezing — and yeah, that made me a bit smug, which is not something I admit often.
