Yarn purchase with torn labels and unwound balls
I was pretty bummed about the yarn I bought recently. The labels were torn and the balls were all messed up when they arrived. Usually, I have good experiences with this company, but this time was different. The yarn was a total mess, like it had been mishandled during shipping. If it had been properly packaged, like vacuum sealed, it would have been perfect. Sadly, it looked like it was just thrown in a tyvek envelope and shipped out. When I contacted customer support about it, their response was not great. They didn't seem committed to fixing the issue or doing better in the future.
Recycled cotton yarn
This recycled cotton yarn was a total letdown. I was really looking forward to using it and got a bunch of different colours, but it turned out to be super low quality. The yarn was coarse and didn't work well for the projects I wanted to do. I had to go and buy new yarn in the right colours, which was a waste of both cash and time. I was hoping for better from a product that said it was 'recycled' - you'd think they could make a higher quality yarn.
Recent yarn purchase
The shipping took a bit longer than I thought, but since it was coming from another country, it wasn't too bad. The prices can be a bit steep, but luckily they have sales pretty often. The yarn is way better quality than what I usually find at places like Michael's or Joann, so I'm happy with what I bought.

I thought I'd give this place a try since it was my first time and I really wanted to make sure I got something super good that matched what I was after. And you know what happened? Bought some yarn
I found this yarn that was really soft, but not wool since I'm allergic to it. I came across a sweater pattern that I really liked and decided to give it a try. Hobbii had a bunch of acrylic yarns that matched the weight needed for the pattern. I did some calculations (math, ugh) to figure out how much yarn I needed and ended up picking a beautiful one that I can wear without getting all sneezy. So happy I had choices!
