seller sent it fast but it sat at the courier hub for weeks, which was annoying. Still, when it finally arrived the careful packing and the snug-fit cables were a nice surprise. Worth the wait if you can be patient. Packaging could've used a tracking update though. I’d buy from Ernest again.

But one hinge was snapped in a way that screamed “broken before shipping.” Contacted customer service right away, sent photos when asked, then clearer ones when they asked again. After a couple of exchanges they said the part didn’t match and offered a 15% refund plus they’d send the broken piece. That feels odd and not very useful — I’m likely going to have to hire a pro to come to the apartment and install it. Slightly surprised they were quick to send the piece, though; that was faster than I expected. Still, for the price I thought the support would be better.

I wasn't expecting a perfect unboxing. The desk showed up on time and the delivery folks were polite. I assembled it in an evening; the instructions were okay. Small snag though — a chip in the finish I only noticed after assembly, and a slight wobble if you lean on the edge. I messaged customer service and they replied fast. They offered a fair credit instead, which saved me disassembling everything and waiting for a replacement. It fits my home office — laptop, coffee and kids' crafts on one corner. Not flawless, but solid and useful. Great service and smooth delivery made it worth it; I'll buy from them again.
