Subscription beauty box
As someone who loves beauty stuff, I like to check out what influencers are into for product suggestions. Recently, I saw a video from Alexandria Ryan on YouTube where she couldn't stop talking about how great the Glossy Box is. So, I thought, why not give it a shot? And let me tell you, the fancy packaging and the different high-quality products definitely lived up to all the hype. Everything from skincare to makeup felt like it was carefully chosen and super fancy. What really got me was the surprise factor of not knowing what I was gonna get in each box, just added a fun twist to my beauty routine. All in all, I was seriously impressed with both the selection and the value of all the goodies in the subscription box.

I signed up for Glossy Box recently and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it overall. The prices are not bad at all, and I'm grateful for the free shipping. I've been dealing with Glossy Box for a while now, and I've asked them multiple times to stop sending me emails for new customers. Even after all my attempts, I kept getting emails and daily offers to sign up again. I had to eventually cancel my subscription and mark their emails as spam to finally get some peace. The worst part was when they wouldn't give me their address for the regulatory board and wouldn't delete all my info from their system. I've complained many times, only to be told I would get a reply in 2 days and then heard nothing. The way Glossy Box disregarded my privacy and UK laws is concerning, and it makes me question how they handle personal data. Plus, the box content was boring and repetitive compared to other similar services. I won't miss their below-average boxes, that's for sure.

The website was super slow when I was trying to shop. I had to click a ton of times just to find what I was looking for because the different sections were hard to navigate. Plus, the product descriptions were not very helpful, so I ended up feeling confused about what to choose. It basically took me three times longer than it should have to figure out what I needed before I could buy anything.

Misleading promotion
I was so excited about this promotion offering a free box if you buy 5, but when I got my order and saw that I got 4 of the same boxes, I was super let down. It felt like they were trying to trick me into spending more cash without actually giving me what they said they would. I spent a lot of time picking out the boxes I really wanted, only to end up with a bunch of random ones that I didn't even care about. I was so annoyed and felt like I got totally swindled.

I can't believe the reviews on this site, they must have been paid off or something! My first order was a disaster - the box was broken, a product inside was damaged, and I was missing a product too! And don't even get me started on the customer service - after hours of back and forth, all I got was a measly $3 credit. Absolutely ridiculous!
