CheckoutSo, I had this annoying situation with an online purchase where I tried to use a coupon code on a website from the UK. When I got the invoice, I saw that the discount had been added to the VAT, so I ended up paying the full price without any discount. I reached out to customer support and sent them screenshots from their website proving that the coupon code should have been applied to my purchase. Even with all that proof, they still said the code couldn't be used on that item. It was really frustrating and misleading, and I had to shell out more money than I thought I would originally.
