Fabricville - Reviews and experiences

I've made a few orders online before and didn't have much of an issue, I got the items within a week. They had a great Thanksgiving sale, initially I went in-store but it was too crowded so I went to make my order online. This time however a week went by and it still hadn't shipped, it's only supposed to take 2-5 business days. So I email customer service and 1) they don't keep the items I ordered in the warehouse (about half my order) and 2) there was an issue with their supplier so it was causing an "extended delay" and my only option was to wait an undetermined amount of time or remove the items from my order altogether. I chose to take them off because I was tired of waiting. I think my main frustration here is there was no indication there was going to be a delay in shipping, nothing on the website, no email sent. I do not want to deal with that again, that's not treating customers' time with respect, so I'll be buying things elsewhere from now on.

I bought some fabric for a DIY project I was working on, and let me tell you, it was not good. The fabric was so thin and felt really cheap. I was pretty let down by the quality. I had to go to a different store to get something better. My whole experience wasn't the best, so I won't be going back there again.

I placed an order for some vinyl. It was on sale at a great price. It took them 6 days to get the order ready to ship which seems a little excessive but I guess it is what it is. They provided me with the tracking number and for 4 days it showed the package was never picked up. When I emailed customer service to inquire, they just kept telling me the package shipped on X day and providing me a link to the tracking info. The link provided clearly shows the package was never picked up so I emailed back. I said I have this tracking info and it shows the package was never picked up. Could someone checked to make sure the package was actually shipped. Customer service replies your package was shipped and sends me the same tracking info. Once again that shows the package was never picked up. The customer service team does not seem to want to do anything to see if the package is actually shipped . This might be an okay store if you're going in to buy something, but I do not recommend ordering online. If you have any problems, good luck getting them resolved with their horrible customer service center. I guess now I have two options put my project on hold and definitely and hope my product finally shows up or go buy more fabric locally and fight with my credit card company to hopefully get my money back
