Last-minute seat swap
Last-minute seat swap
Returns & RefundsHalf an hour before the show I opened an email saying my orchestra seats had been swapped for the upper balcony. Paid over $500 for this as a Christmas present, so yeah, that stung. I asked for a full refund — the rep handled it and the money showed up faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Compared to other ticket sites I've used, the ordering felt sloppy, and I won't trust them for another big gift.

CheckoutI buy concert tickets a few times a year and this time I almost lost my mind — the checkout suddenly redirected me to etickets and the price jumped way up. The moment I felt okay about the whole mess was after I called the venue; they confirmed the redirect happens and helped me buy directly at the box office. Holding the actual tickets in my hand was that "phew" moment, and yeah, I was relieved. Still annoyed about the stress, but it worked out.

Priceprice way higher than the vendor, tiny disclaimer about 'prices may vary' hidden somewhere, and I kept replaying the Google result in my head. That scepticism slowly eased when the confirmations arrived on time and the e-tickets scanned fine at the door. Lesson learned: double-check prices next time. Would I use them again? Maybe, but I'll compare first.

Returns & Refundspartial refund minus fees or a bigger voucher. I was skeptical, to say the least, but I called customer support and after a bit of back-and-forth they sorted a fair outcome. The voucher ended up being easy to use for another show and the refund processed cleanly. First impressions were messy, but I left satisfied.

Returns & Refundstickets not secured, but they'd try to move me to better seats. I agreed, reluctantly. On the day the tickets still hadn't arrived. I phoned, was told it was the venue holding them. At 3:30 they said the supplier would release them within an hour. At 4:20 they called back and said nothing could be done. I had already paid about $500 for the hotel. They offered to refund 200% at that point; I was skeptical but that sounded fair. A follow-up email only showed 120% back, which didn't cover the room. So I pushed again — polite, blunt, the usual back and forth. It took persistence and another phone call, but eventually they honoured the 200% refund. That was the moment I stopped being angry. It wasn't smooth. It shouldn't have happened. But in the end the money covered my loss and they made good on their promise. That counts for something.
