New shoes ordered online April 1, 2024

So I bought these really cool shoes online and decided to pay for express shipping to get them faster. But then when I called to check on my order, the person on the phone said I didn't need to pay extra because I live close by. Like, why didn't they mention that when I was placing my order? Anyway, she said she would remove the extra charge, but guess what? It was still on my bill when my shoes arrived. I had to go back and they refused to refund me. Can you believe that? If I knew they were going to mess up like this, I would've just gone with regular shipping. There are so many other places to shop at. I'm never buying from them again. And to top it off, they don't even include a name in their emails, just "Customer Service". So rude, eh?
