CheckoutI was halfway through my afternoon when I saw the charge pop up and my stomach dropped — not because of the amount, really, but because I knew I hadn’t hit “confirm.” I immediately went back through the site and sure enough, there’d been no clear final confirmation page. That’s where this whole thing started, in the middle of a glitchy checkout that charged my card without the usual last click. I emailed right away saying I hadn’t intentionally completed the order, that the shipping address was an old one I no longer have access to, and that the unexpected charge actually caused a short-term money problem for me. Simple, direct, felt urgent.
