cute and comfy but I won't trust these on wet sidewalks. I bought them because they looked sharp and felt great straight out of the box — warm lining, not clunky, kind of a style that works for work or a quick coffee run — and the waterproof tag was a nice bonus. First rainy day I wore them I stepped onto a puddly bit of sidewalk and down I went, landed on my knee. Not fun, not graceful, and since then every damp floor makes me a bit tense. The outsole is way slicker than any other shoe I own, which is odd because you'd expect waterproof boots to at least not act like ice skates. Also, weird fit quirk: right boot fits fine, left boot pinches the toes up top — never seen that before on the same pair. I do like how they look and they are really comfortable for dry days, honestly. But if you wanted them for rainy weather, they miss the mark. Slightly annoyed but hopeful—seems like a better tread would fix most of this. Also surprised there aren't more reports; I searched and found little. Small things, but they matter.

I won’t be buying from them again, mainly because of how the follow-up was handled. The shoes themselves were fine at first, but the insoles started to fall apart inside about two months — literally crumbling and leaving bits in the shoe. I mean, that’s disappointing, but what sealed it was the refusal to help.
I reached out asking for replacement insoles — seemed like a small, reasonable fix for a repeat customer — and they declined. They even suggested the kid wearing the shoes did something wrong and that the insoles should be taken out after every use. That instruction wasn’t on the product page; in fact, it advertised a “stitched sole for better durability,” so it felt off. As a small business owner myself I was surprised; I’d have sent a cheap replacement just to keep a customer.
To be fair, the shoes worked okay otherwise and delivery was fine, and I’ve had better service at cheaper brands before, so it’s not totally hopeless. But the customer service response left a bad taste, and that’s why I’m done. Not perfect, not a disaster either — just not the kind of support that keeps me coming back.

She's genuinely pleased with these boots, her first barefoot pair; they actually give plenty of toe room, more than other barefoot brands we've tried. We were cautious after one bad fit elsewhere, so that's a real relief.
