Quietly disappointing, works but support is a pain
Quietly disappointing, works but support is a pain
Returns & RefundsI bought a small air purifier for my home office and it actually does the job — filters the dust and my little allergy sneezes are down. It fits on my desk and I use it every day while I work. The unit itself is fine. The problem was everything around the purchase. The delivery took much longer than they quoted. I sent a return because one fan was noisy, and that’s where things went sideways. They acknowledged the return but the refund never showed up. Emails got the same templated reply over and over. I called once and was told the refund would be escalated; that never happened. I called again and hit the same wall. They wouldn’t connect me to the department they said handled refunds, and supervisors were off the table. It’s frustrating. I opened a PayPal dispute and that finally sorted the money back to me, but only after weeks. So, service and delivery were disappointing. The product itself is useful; it’s not perfect but it’s fine for daily use. If you value a smooth returns process and clear customer support, this company won’t make it easy. If all you care about is the device working on your desk, it’s worth considering — just be ready for a tough fight if you need a refund.
Fraying edge and a confusing warranty
Fraying edge and a confusing warranty
Returns & RefundsI bought this belt because I started a new job and needed something decent to wear every day — I’ve trusted this brand for years, so I didn’t think twice. After about six months the edge trim started peeling in one spot, and then a couple more spots followed. It wasn’t the buckle, so I kept thinking I could live with it, then realised it was spreading and stopped wearing it. I was busy with a move and other stuff, so I didn’t contact them right away, but I did reach out within a year because, to me, a belt like that should last much longer. The main issue here is the warranty story — their emails kept pointing to a six‑month limit, without ever sending any official terms, while I could still find mention on their site that manufacturing defects are covered for two years. That contradiction mattered to me; it’s a factual thing, not just nitpicking. They called it wear and tear without inspecting the item, which felt like a quick dismissal. Eventually they offered 50% back, which is something, I guess, but not enough — I asked for a replacement (not the same model) or a full refund and then the replies stopped. So yes, I’m a bit relieved it wasn’t a total disaster — at least it wasn’t the buckle or hardware — but disappointed the company wouldn’t properly stand behind the product. It’s not about the money really, more about consistency and clear policies. If you rely on their gear daily, be prepared to push for answers on warranty details.
