I said, look, call Aetna directly — felt like the only sensible move — and, to my surprise, the receptionist actually did. When she came back with a reference number and a promise to follow up, I felt relieved and oddly satisfied. Still annoyed by the wasted time, but at least someone listened and acted.

Emotionally, I felt relieved and a bit smug for doing the homework. Would I recommend it? Yeah — just check the docs, confirm codes, and keep an eye on renewals and promos. It’s not perfect, but it helped me afford stuff I otherwise might have put off.
