Learning coding
Hey there! I just wrapped up a course on app development using Flutter, and now I'm keeping up with my coding skills by taking some self-learning courses. I recently decided to splurge on the paid version, and I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with it! The only downside is that they only focus on Swift for app development. It would be amazing if they offered something for Android or cross-platform development as well.
Career changing learning
I've been thinking about changing careers for a bit, but with work and life, I never thought I'd have the time to go back to school. Thanks to this awesome learning website, I can gain all the skills I need to switch things up! The lessons are hands-on and easy to remember, which is great for me since I can't sit still for too long. My experience with it has been fantastic, and I'm excited to see where this new path leads me!
Course content
The courses were decent, but some felt a bit half-hearted and too expensive. The customer service, on the other hand, was really good. I was able to get a refund and they were super nice about it.
Full stack path
I've been working my way through the full stack path on this platform, and I gotta say, it's been a smooth learning journey. The course layout is great, starting from the basics and gradually moving to more complex stuff. I like that as I move along, I get to set up my own environment to tackle the challenges. This hands-on approach really works for me in terms of learning. But, some exercises could use more context or they're either too hard or too easy. Despite that, the overall curriculum is well-rounded, and the challenges are tough enough to keep me interested and motivated. Compared to other platforms like Datacamp, which I've tried before (and found better for data science), I truly believe that Codecademy is the top choice for learning web stack that I've found so far.
Online coding course
I tried to get some help with my coding course and change my email address, but the people working there were so frustrating! It took them forever to reply and when they finally did, they couldn't even copy and paste my email address right. Like seriously, even a kid in grade 5 could do a better job than them. And they don't even read what I write, they just ignore me! I feel like I wasted my money on this course because the customer service is so bad.
Online coding lessons
The coding lessons I got online were super informative and easy to follow. I really like the fact that I can learn at my own speed and whenever I want. Practicing with test code after each lesson is a great way to make sure I really understand everything. Honestly, I can't recommend this platform enough - I'm having a blast and learning so much.

I really like the online coding lessons I bought because they're so easy to use and interactive. They've really helped me get better at coding. But I had a little problem the other day - there was a mistake with my bill and I got charged more than I should have. I got in touch with customer service, and they were super quick to fix the problem. They gave me my money back right away, no questions asked. I was impressed by how well they took care of it, and it shows they really care about making sure customers are happy. So yeah, they left a good impression on me with their awesome customer service.
Learning tool
Codacademy is pretty good for learning, but it's not great for remembering things in the long run. It can be tough to stay interested and remember what you've learned without a membership. I recommend using it along with other resources for better success.
Coding tutorials
The coding tutorials on the platform look nice and are easy to find your way around, but they're kinda simple and not very challenging. They're great if you're just starting out, but they don't really help you truly learn. It would be better if they encouraged you to try things out and figure out solutions on your own before showing you the answer. Also, the examples they use should be more practical and related to real-life coding to help you get ready for your own projects.
Python platform issues
Their python console is so frustrating! The automatic testing button keeps saying my answer is wrong, but then it ends up accepting it anyway. It's really messing with my confidence. And there's no human support available to help. The chatbot is pretty basic for a company that's supposed to be all about AI teaching. I even have video evidence of the bugs on the platform. At least I haven't had any problems with the bash exercises.
Learning programming basics, Full Stack Web development, ASP.NET
I've been using this platform for 3 years now and I have to say, it's really made a big difference for me. I began with Python, then got into Full Stack Web development, and now I'm digging into ASP.NET. The way the courses are set up and organized has been super useful for me in my learning. I've checked out other platforms like Udacity and Udemy, but none of them are as easy for beginners as this one. The customer service is amazing too - they quickly refunded me when I accidentally signed up for a higher subscription plan than I meant to.
JavaScript programming course
As a retired embedded software engineer with a lot of experience in C, Pascal, OCCAM, Modula, and Natural, I decided to try learning JavaScript to improve the web page of our Repair Café. I went to Codecademy at first, looking for a fast and effective way to learn. But I found that the course had a lot of basic programming info that I already knew. So, I switched to w3schools instead. It was better for me because I could move ahead quicker, start with HTML integration right away, and take shortcuts when needed.
Data science course trial
I tried out a data science course with a free trial recently. The course content was really good, and the interface was user-friendly. But I ended up forgetting to cancel before the trial ended. To my surprise, I got a refund from the platform without even asking for it. Looks like they've made some changes after getting complaints about their cancellation process.
E-Learning platform experience
My experience with the e-learning platform was not as good as I had hoped for. They say you can learn anywhere, anytime, but it was actually quite hard to use on my phone. I kept having trouble with the internet connection while coding, and I had to log in and out a bunch of times to fix it. The examples they gave in the lessons weren't very clear, so it was tough for me to understand the concepts. And the projects were a bit confusing because they didn't explain everything well enough. The videos were old and went too fast, so it was hard for a beginner like me to keep up. Overall, I didn't have a great time learning with this platform, and I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it every month.
Software subscription
The software subscription I bought didn't meet my expectations. I thought the tasks were too easy and boring, so I decided to cancel my subscription after only a week. Even though I canceled, they still charged me. When I asked for a refund, they weren't very helpful and didn't take any responsibility. It was frustrating.
Learning to Code
Learning to code was so much fun and so satisfying. My dad, who's an engineer, helped me come up with a workflow for a school project. I really wanted to create macros in Google Sheets just like him, but I just couldn't wrap my head around it. Thankfully, Codecademy saved the day and taught me Jawascript, which feels like pure magic! I'm really thankful to the Codecademy team for helping me learn something new and super exciting.
Coding skills improvement
My time on this platform has been absolutely fantastic! The way I've been learning has been really interesting and the content is far from boring. The instructions are laid out in a really clear way which makes it simple to finish projects and pick up new skills. The cost is a bit on the high side, but I think the yearly subscription is totally worth it for the top-notch education you get. I'd definitely suggest it to anyone wanting to level up their coding abilities.
Beginner friendly programming website
This website is awesome for beginners because there are lots of different courses and languages to choose from. The community forums and Discord server are super helpful if you need assistance. I'm thinking about upgrading to Pro membership. There are a few code commands that don't work in the environment right now, but hopefully they'll get fixed soon. Overall, I think this is a fantastic website for learning programming.
Coding classes
I love taking these coding classes because they're easy to follow and don't go too fast. They're a great way to get started if you're new to coding. The only downside is when my progress disappears, it can be frustrating. Despite that, it's a great place to learn how to code.
Learning coding for beginners
I recently started learning to code and let me tell you, Codecademy is absolutely amazing! It's really great for beginners who are just dipping their toes into different programming languages and learning how they function. It's been a blast so far, but I've come to the realization that I'll definitely need some additional support to reach expert level. I reckon I'll have to dig into more advanced material after this to really take my skills up a notch.
