Vision Express - Reviews and experiences

I noticed right away when I put the new glasses on — everything was soft around the edges and I got a headache within an hour. Went back and they admitted they’d originally lost the pair I picked, then ‘found’ them, then fitted the wrong lenses anyway. They even had my name wrong on the paperwork so that was a fun start. The worst bit was the blurred vision from the incorrect lenses — that’s not just annoying, it’s dangerous, and I felt they treated it like a minor hiccup. They offered a small payment as “compensation” but wanted card details over the phone; I asked for a cheque and was told they don’t do that. I ended up getting a second opinion and had to push them to take responsibility. Not dramatic, but definitely avoidable. I’d say be careful, check the lenses in front of them, and don’t accept vague assurances.
