Personal backup system subscription
I've been using this personal backup system for over five years now, and I have to say, it's been fantastic. I back up a lot of streaming video, music, photos, and basic desktop PC data, a good chunk of which is from external drives. In all that time, I've only had one issue, but their tech support team handled it right away. Plus, once a year, they offer to send an encrypted drive for customers with a ton of data to back up all at once, for free. It's been smooth sailing for me.
Setting up and maintaining this personal backup system might take a bit of patience and computer know-how, but it's pretty smart and efficient. I think some of the negative reviews might be more about user error than system problems. The log files they provide have helped me troubleshoot any issues, and the backups run seamlessly on computers that support background services.

The customer support has been super helpful, but I was kinda bummed to find out that Mac Time Machine Backups might not jive with their express drive deal.

The data backup service I used worked fine for keeping my chosen data safe at a decent price. But, I just upgraded my system to a 2TB NVME SSD to make it faster. When I tried to switch the service to the new folders, I hit a big roadblock. No matter what I tried, I couldn't move all my old data to the new drive, so I had to spend a lot of time uploading it again. On the other hand, switching my backups over to Amazon Photos was a breeze, showing a big weakness in the service.

iDrive is honestly the best backup solution I've ever used. It's way more affordable than the others out there and it's got a ton of really cool features. Just switched over to a new cloud storage provider because my old one was having security issues. I've noticed that iDrive's upload speeds can be a bit slow, but I think it might be because of my internet. I'm using iDrive on my NAS to back up my files, and I've noticed that the software isn't always reliable. The app on my Android phone also seems outdated, like it's from a few years back. But I do like the amount of storage space you get for the price. Overall, I think iDrive could use some updates to make it easier to use.

The service itself was fantastic, it did everything it said it would in a really simple and logical way. The interface was user-friendly and didn't take forever to figure out. It did take a bit of time to backup the 4TB of data at the start, but after that, everything went super smoothly.
