Not perfect, but it works
Not perfect, but it works
App & PortalI first noticed Fortect on a tech forum while I was desperately trying to keep an old Win7 desktop alive — a friend had mentioned it too. I was pretty sceptical at first; seemed like another overpromising tool and I worried about compatibility. Support warned it’s designed for Win10/11 but they still stuck with me, were patient and walked through tweaks. The app cleared out a surprising amount of junk, fixed a slow boot issue and the built‑in VPN was an unexpected plus. A few settings aren’t obvious and some features clearly favour newer Windows, so it’s not flawless. Overall my doubts mostly faded; I’m actually installing it on my new PC.
