Solid arms, decent support
Solid arms, decent support
QualityI first saw these on a buddy’s truck and figured I’d give them a shot, so I ordered a set of upper control arms. They didn’t show up on time and I was, yeah, a bit skeptical. Flashark emailed the next day saying they were backordered about two weeks and offered a $20 gift card — which I hadn’t even asked for. Once installed they feel really solid, steering is tighter and the front end feels more planted. I already told a couple pals to check them out.
Finally, the right amount of growl

Qualityno instructions (but it was assembled so you kind of figure it out), and one side has that slip-on section with a clamp which felt odd at first — fit was fine though. I told a coworker about it already. Mildly surprised and pretty glad it worked out, would recommend to another Altima owner.

Qualitythe pieces are heavy, the metal feels solid, welds look decent, and the muffler gives a deeper sound right away — not tinny, more like it has some weight to it. Installation wasn’t pretty. I had to trim the main pipe by about six inches to get a decent fit, which I’d suspected I might need to do, so that wasn’t a surprise. What annoyed me more was the hanger tab hole: it was almost a full hole’s width off from the corresponding piece, so no way to bolt them together without force. I tried pushing, prying, re-aligning — no luck. Ended up fabricating a hanger from an old bracket and a spare clamp; ugly, but solid now. Once it was on, the system feels rigid, no weird vibrations, and it sounds right when you drive — deeper at idle, stronger on acceleration, not obnoxious. Support answered my email but just sent a link to a YouTube install video, after I’d already finished, so service was okay but not helpful at the moment I needed it. Overall I’m glad I swapped it, mainly for the reliability and the way it drives now. Slightly annoyed by the fitment and lack of paperwork, but satisfied in the end.
