subscription for internet accountability
subscription for internet accountability
QualityCovenant Eyes was a letdown for me because it didn't really tackle the main problems of addiction and dishonesty in relationships. Even though having online accountability is crucial, this service didn't do much to actually help people face and beat their challenges. Instead, it just made it easier for users to keep their actions hidden instead of making progress towards healing and personal growth. Having experienced firsthand the damaging impact of porn addiction on a relationship, I saw this service as more harmful than helpful. It just continues a pattern of dishonesty and avoidance, instead of encouraging honest conversations and real transformation.
Monitoring software for IOS devices
Monitoring software for IOS devices
QualityHey there, as someone who was trying to find some monitoring software for my IOS devices, I gotta say I was pretty disappointed with this product. Even though the company was talking a big game, the monitoring only really works if you use their app, and the screenshot quality is not great. Because of these limitations, I found the product to be pretty much useless for what I needed. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone else looking for good monitoring software for IOS devices.
Used service for years
Used service for years
QualityI've been using this service for a few years now, and it used to be pretty good. But lately, they made some changes that really messed things up. The screen accountability feature doesn't work at all. I've told them so many times, but nothing has been fixed. On iOS, the app keeps turning off or can easily be turned off. It only works if you use a specific browser, which is really annoying. It doesn't even monitor app activity or block things in apps. I've reached out to customer service several times, and they've responded, but they're not very helpful.
Internet accountability software
Internet accountability software
QualityThis software isn't perfect, but it's really made a difference for me. Sometimes it has problems, like not loading images on certain websites when it's installed. But those are usually sites with explicit content, so maybe it's a good thing. It's been a huge help for me, and I've seen a noticeable change in my habits since I started using it.
Covenant Eyes membership
Covenant Eyes membership
QualityI had a really bad time with Covenant Eyes. I was so let down by the Christian adult stuff cuz the pictures were all fuzzy and the app was super slow. Plus, I had a hard time canceling my membership, which was annoying. I'd suggest steering clear of this service. But if you're really into blurry Christian stuff, maybe use a virtual card for payment.
Content filtering and blocking service
Content filtering and blocking service
QualityIt's not perfect, but it gets the job done of filtering and blocking content. I appreciate the effort, but there's definitely room for improvement. Hopefully, they'll keep making updates to make it work better for us users.
Monitoring software, ineffective filters, difficult cancellation process
Monitoring software, ineffective filters, difficult cancellation process
QualityAs a user of this monitoring software, I have found it to be pretty useless when it comes to filtering out inappropriate content. The screenshots provided are so blurry that it's hard to see what's really going on. It's like you need to be a detective to figure out if someone has gone off track. The app says it blocks sites like Reddit and YouTube comments, but it still lets people access porn, which defeats the whole point of having this software. Plus, cancelling the subscription is a pain. You have to call and talk to someone during their specific business hours in the East, which is tough for people in other time zones. I was hoping for better functionality and ease of use from this software.
