Yes Asia - Reviews and experiences

I recently bought a DVD case for a box set from Yes Asia, but I was disappointed with how they packaged it. The case came broken because it wasn't wrapped properly, and when I tried to contact customer service for help, they weren't very helpful. They said they would send another DVD case, but it was too thin and transparent for my box set, so it didn't work for my DVDs. I couldn't send it back for a proper replacement because of the bad packaging. It was frustrating!

I was pretty bummed out about the TV shows they had on that site. There were a bunch to choose from, but I was really hoping to watch something with a specific actor, and there weren't many options for that. I had my heart set on one show in particular, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the website.

I've been shopping with YesAsia for a long time now, and I gotta say, they are my go-to for Chinese CDs and videos. They've got such a wide selection, including some real gems from way back when. As a Baby Boomer, I love that I can find stuff that brings back nostalgic memories. Sure, their prices might not always be the cheapest, but their customer service is top-notch. I've never had any problems with my orders, and they always come through with fast and reliable delivery.

I was looking at some VideoCDs online and found a bunch of computer-generated art films that I really wanted to add to my collection. So, I ordered them and waited eagerly for over a month, only to get a message saying my order was canceled because they didn't have the items in stock. As a collector, that's just not cool! I did get my money back, but it's frustrating to see things for sale that aren't even available. It's a waste of time for us collectors who are searching for unique stuff. I won't take that chance again!
