PayPal rescued me, but the dresses were a mess
PayPal rescued me, but the dresses were a mess
Returns & Refundsdon’t trust the photos, but I’m actually relieved PayPal sorted the refund — so happy about that. I needed these three dresses for a friend’s wedding, and I was already stressed about finding something that didn’t make my back hurt (long story, bad back), so yeah, I was extra careful. The dresses arrived and were nowhere near the listing — one looked like a giant pillowcase, the second rode up in a way that exposed, well, too much, and the third was so awful I didn’t even bother trying it on. The seller asked for photos, we “agreed” on an 80% refund if I donated the dresses. I waited 16 days and got nothing. After I opened a PayPal dispute, they suddenly wanted the dresses returned — after telling me to donate. PayPal told me this is a classic move. I actually went and snagged the items back from the donation spot, shipped them off, and won the dispute. All in all, annoying and sketchy, but thankful it ended with a refund. Oh, and beware those glowing reviews — seems anyone can leave one. Learn from my headache.
Too many hoops for a refund

Returns & Refundsa tiny refund of $14.95 on a $72 order, or a $29 coupon but only if I spend another $60, or keep it and maybe get a future discount. Basically none of those is a real refund. Feels set up so you pay more to get anything useful. Service reps were polite enough on the chat, but the policy is clearly written to protect them, not the customer. Delivery itself? Decent — arrived on time and without damage — so fair there. Quality and return handling? Disappointing. I might try selling the suit elsewhere or keep it for casual wear, but I won’t risk ordering again unless they change their returns. If you’re thinking of buying, be prepared: delivery might be fine, but getting your money back is a hassle. My advice: double-check measurements and be ready to argue or let it go. Not perfect, but usable if you really like the look. Also, a heads up — customer service gave a few apologies but never offered a straightforward fix, so expect a lot of back-and-forth. If you’re picky about fit or returns, maybe skip it or buy something cheap for trial.
Colour mismatch and radio silence
Colour mismatch and radio silence
Communicationwon’t order from them again. I bought a dress for my wife thinking it would be straightforward, but it turned into a headache. I ordered it about a month before we needed it and it showed up after more than three weeks — okay, slow but manageable if everything else was fine. First impression when we opened the package was that the colour was off. Photo showed a black-and-gold look; the dress we got reads black-and-yellow in real life. That difference mattered, so I tried to return it. There’s no phone support, just email, which they claim they reply to in about 48 hours. I waited more than a month after sending the return request and I emailed three times — no reply, no bouncebacks, nothing. Because of that silence the return window expired. I checked the address, it was correct, so it wasn’t a user error. The fabric and cut weren’t terrible, actually, so I’m a little bummed — could have been fine if the colour matched and customer service existed. I’ve dealt with other online shops (Shein, Amazon, Temu) without this kind of radio silence, so this really left a bad first impression. Won’t risk it again and I’ve warned friends. Small quirks: shipping was slow, and their support is basically non-existent.
