The one-round trap

Price

Booted it up one late night — thought one quick round; felt clingy and pushy, kept asking for cash, first impression was "meh", kinda draining after an hour, weirdly frustrating

Still hooked, but balance and pay systems need work

Price

great fun, just unfair at times. In practice Germany often feels weaker than history suggests; I was surprised to see T-34s one-shot Panthers and Tigers from angles that would be laughable IRL, and it's not a one-off. At the same time a bunch of German tanks turn into slow, awkward targets because of painfully slow turret rotation (pz IV F2/G, Panther D and later pz IVs) — that clunkiness matters. Another odd bit is Soviet vehicles sitting around BR 3 to 6.7, which throws matches in weird ways. The pay-to-win stuff is probably the biggest sore point: emergency repairs, faster reloads and other paid advantages are obvious in play. Still, maps, sound and core combat keep me playing, and there are lots of great moments. My advice to other players: enjoy it, but expect uneven matches. To the devs: please rebalance turrets/BRs and tone down the most blatant paid perks — that would make this near-perfect.

Tank Expansion Pack

Price

As a customer who loves historical accuracy in my gameplay, I gotta say I was pretty bummed out by the Tank Expansion Pack. The new tanks they added were too strong and messed up the balance of the game. For 70€, I was hoping for more attention to detail and fairness. It's frustrating when a game starts leaning towards pay-to-win instead of skill and strategy. Hopefully, the devs listen to feedback and make some changes for a better gaming experience.

Russian propaganda game

Price

Eh bud, this game is just loaded with sketchy political stuff and playing favourites with tank stats. Those Russian tanks are way too strong, eh, while the "nato" ones are getting the short end of the stick. And don't even get me started on those lootboxes - total ripoff, eh? You gotta cough up real cash just to get a chance. And as for Gaijin Entertainment, they don't seem to care much about cheating or sticking to their own rules, eh.

In-game purchases

I just feel so annoyed by how the game always seems to favor some countries over others. It really takes away from the fun of playing. The imbalance between tanks, especially ones from the USA and Russia, is a big problem that should really be fixed. And it's frustrating how the game's economy is set up to benefit players who pay, making it really hard to advance without spending cash. All these issues really ruin the whole experience of the game.

In-game items and premium membership

Price

As a customer on this online gaming platform, I gotta say my experience hasn't been the greatest. The game's got a bunch of problems like matches that aren't fair and a system where you gotta pay to win, which really benefits folks who are willing to drop cash on premium stuff. It makes it tough for new players or those who just wanna play for fun, 'cause they're always up against players who know the game better and have better gear. All in all, the game's pretty boring and doesn't give you a good time playing.

Recent in-game purchases

Price

My recent time playing the game has been pretty disappointing, to be honest. The more I got into it, the more I found myself on teams that just didn't seem to know what they were doing, and we kept losing. It's also been frustrating dealing with players who are clearly using unfair hacks or tricks to get ahead. It feels like there are some sneaky bots pretending to be newbies, but they're actually there to beat up on players like me who don't spend money on the game. On top of that, it's so obvious that players who pay to win have way better vehicles with more HP, penetration, and hitboxes. All in all, the game just isn't fun when it's so clearly not fair.

"Simulation" combat game with historic vehicles

Price

War Thunder is a pretty cool combat game where you get to use old-timey vehicles in battles. There's a whole bunch of vehicles to choose from, all super detailed and realistic. The damage system is pretty solid and the developers are always working on making the game better. The only downside is that it takes forever to move up in the game, which can get pretty annoying for players. Plus, sometimes people can be jerks and not work well in teams. There are also a lot of bugs that need fixing all the time. And lately, it seems like you gotta pay a lot to win, with the best vehicles costing a hefty 70€ each. So, playing War Thunder can be both fun and a real headache.

War game purchase

Price

As someone who has played a lot of war games, I have to say I was pretty bummed out by this particular one. The matches are often lopsided, leading to a lot of losses and making the game more annoying than fun. The vehicles in the game are just way too unrealistic, especially in the "realistic" and simulator modes that promise a more authentic experience but don't deliver. On top of that, the pay-to-win setup is a big downer - it practically forces you to spend money just to get basic stuff for your vehicles, making it nearly impossible to play normally. And don't even get me started on the toxic community, full of people with extreme views and cheaters. The maps aren't great either, especially for high-level vehicles or planes, which only adds to the frustration. All in all, this game has been a total nightmare for me, and I wouldn't recommend it to any serious war game fan.
