Not reliable for important sites

ServiceI ended up not trusting ThemeForest for anything important. I bought a theme and a plugin for my online shop and, right after launch, bugs started popping up — some tiny, some blocking checkout. The theme author ghosted me, so I filed a PayPal dispute. As soon as I did, ThemeForest froze my account, which felt like a slap in the face. PayPal eventually sided with me and refunded the purchase, but when I asked ThemeForest to reopen my account they demanded I pay again for items — asking me to repurchase stuff they'd failed to support. It sort of worked soon with third-party fixes, but the whole process was annoying and unnecessary, and I'm more careful now.

Servicehad to wipe WordPress for technical reasons, then my “lifetime” activation key acted like it was expired and I spent days arguing to get it sorted. It came back again later but was quicker to resolve. Fast forward two weeks ago I bought the Houzez theme and right away some key features wouldn’t load. FaveThemes stepped in and took over remotely; first impression was cautious, but they were thorough and stuck with it until things worked. It’s not perfect — Elementor still behaves oddly in spots and I’m waiting on a couple small functional tweaks — but the core is solid now and I felt confident enough to email them a proper thanks. If you want reliable support over polished marketing, this was the moment I was satisfied.
