ProductI was honestly on the fence before buying this Moodle theme — I’d had rough experiences with other theme sellers, so I worried about bugs and support. After a week of testing, most worries faded. The layout is clean, responsive, and surprisingly snappy on phones, and the page/menu builder actually made tweaks fast. Not perfect — some options felt buried — but support answered quickly and the end result looks much better than I expected for the price.

Returns & RefundsI'm cautiously satisfied, but it wasn't smooth. At first support felt non-existent — they seemed to accept any code and say the author handles support, which left me annoyed. Plugins promised Pro bits that didn't always work, and their refund terms were buried; I almost gave up. I pushed back, mentioned past refunds I got elsewhere, and eventually got a partial refund plus a working update. So yes, still wary, would try again only after double-checking and saving my receipts and screenshots too.

ServiceI first saw them on a dev forum, a colleague had mentioned their themes. It wasn’t smooth at the beginning. A theme broke and my account got locked. I figured I was done for. Then support actually responded. They restored access and processed a refund within a few days, which surprised me. That was the moment I knew I was satisfied. It felt like a proper fix, not just words. I even told a friend at work, who’d been hesitant, and they gave it a try too. There were a few bumps still, but the quick, concrete resolution made the difference. Would recommend with a small caution.
Dead-on-arrival, awkward support

Returns & RefundsWe've used ThemeForest for years and usually things just work, so this one stood out. I installed the purchase and it was basically dead on arrival — error screens, bits of the UI wouldn't load, couldn't even preview. Tried to use it for a small client job and had to bail. Support asked me to pause my PayPal dispute, then blocked my account, and after a review they refuse a refund. Feels wrong, like buying a bike with a flat tire and being told to ride it anyway. Disappointed and a bit wary of Envato now.
Unexpected relief

Returns & RefundsHalfway through trying to set the theme up I realised it was full of bugs — and that’s where the headache started. I first spotted the theme on ThemeForest after a colleague tipped me about it, so I went ahead and bought both the theme and a plugin. The author didn’t respond, I filed a PayPal dispute and then ThemeForest locked my account right after. The moment I knew I’d be OK was when PayPal decided in my favour and refunded me — honestly a big relief, I was really thankful. Still annoying that ThemeForest wants payment now and my account’s blocked, but at least my money came back.
Not a magic one‑click

Productyou'll still need basic WordPress chops to import demo content, set up menus, configure plugins and sort server/security bits. I followed the docs and still spent a couple of afternoons fixing plugin conflicts. So unless you know WP a little or are ready to hire someone, expect extra work. Devs aren't obliged to set up your site for free, FYI. Still, the marketplace has solid themes and I keep coming back. It's a useful resource overall, just manage expectations.
Not reliable for important sites
Not reliable for important sites
ServiceI ended up not trusting ThemeForest for anything important. I bought a theme and a plugin for my online shop and, right after launch, bugs started popping up — some tiny, some blocking checkout. The theme author ghosted me, so I filed a PayPal dispute. As soon as I did, ThemeForest froze my account, which felt like a slap in the face. PayPal eventually sided with me and refunded the purchase, but when I asked ThemeForest to reopen my account they demanded I pay again for items — asking me to repurchase stuff they'd failed to support. It sort of worked soon with third-party fixes, but the whole process was annoying and unnecessary, and I'm more careful now.

Servicehad to wipe WordPress for technical reasons, then my “lifetime” activation key acted like it was expired and I spent days arguing to get it sorted. It came back again later but was quicker to resolve. Fast forward two weeks ago I bought the Houzez theme and right away some key features wouldn’t load. FaveThemes stepped in and took over remotely; first impression was cautious, but they were thorough and stuck with it until things worked. It’s not perfect — Elementor still behaves oddly in spots and I’m waiting on a couple small functional tweaks — but the core is solid now and I felt confident enough to email them a proper thanks. If you want reliable support over polished marketing, this was the moment I was satisfied.

Communicationreplies looked promising but then went silent for a couple of days and I was bracing for a long, slow fix or nothing at all. I’ll admit I was ready to pull the whole theme and move on. Then, out of the blue, one rep followed up with clear steps and a patch — not perfect, but it fixed the layout and kept my custom tweaks intact. That moment — when the site loaded correctly and I actually felt relieved — is when my scepticism flipped to actual satisfaction. It wasn’t slick or instant, but the human follow-through mattered. I still grumble about the delay (Canadian patience has its limits), but all told I’d use them again if needed — just expect a short tango before the solution.

Returns & Refundsmy site started redirecting visitors to another page, which was embarrassing and honestly cost me trust with a few clients. I ended up wiping the whole site and rebuilding from scratch (I could have tried to salvage files, but I wanted a clean slate). I told their support several times, explained the rebuild, offered the URL so they could verify what happened, and asked for at least a refund given the damage — they declined and wouldn't take responsibility. On the upside, once I installed a different theme everything settled and the site works reliably now (so it's not the hosting). Bottom line: the product installed and ran before the bad update, and the ordering/delivery was quick, but their quality control around updates is weak and support unhelpful. It’s not all terrible—things work after switching—but I wouldn’t risk this vendor again without clear fixes and better assurances.
