Rainy Tuesday unboxing
Rainy Tuesday unboxing
Returns & RefundsI opened the box on a rainy Tuesday and kind of laughed — the dress looked nothing like the picture, very matronly and stiff. I sent it back right away in the original packaging with tags. First impression was annoyed, obviously. Two weeks later I got an email saying they received it, but no refund showed up, so I called my credit card and opened a dispute. Weirdly, after I filed the dispute the money posted within a couple of days — not ideal timing, but hey, I’m relieved it finally landed. I wish their returns team had been clearer the whole time; the delay and silence were the worst part. Still, happy it worked out in the end, even if I had to push for it. Also, the box had a tiny tear, nothing major.
Finally a great fit — just be careful with returns
Finally a great fit — just be careful with returns
Returns & Refundsmy return came back to me, crumpled in a plain box, and they said there was a stain. It was in a darker seam overlap by the zipper — honestly looked like the normal shading of the material to me. I tried to get someone on the phone or even an email reply, but it was slow and confusing. That part was frustrating, I won’t lie. Still, the dress itself performed well for the event and I’d buy from them again if the return process were clearer. Quick tip: if you plan to return, take photos and keep everything documented. It helped me keep my cool at least.
Practical pick for the ball
Practical pick for the ball
ProductI’m glad I bought it. I ordered this dress for an upcoming military ball and I was a bit unsure at first, but it turned out to be a sensible choice. I got it about a week after ordering. First look was positive — neat packaging and no damage. I tried it on right away. The fabric feels weighty enough and hangs well. It fits in the places it should and still lets me move without feeling boxed in. The stitching looked tidy on a quick check, though I did spot one tiny loose thread near a seam, nothing major. The colour matched the photos closely, which is always a relief when you buy online. Delivery was on time, which helped me relax. Service communications were straightforward, not overly friendly but clear. Price felt fair for the quality; not cheap, not absurd. I haven’t worn it to the ball yet, so I can’t judge how it performs under a long night of dancing, but for pre-event checks I’m content. Slightly sceptical at the start, now satisfied enough to recommend it to someone who wants a reliable formal dress.

Service
I love the dress, but the customer service? Not great — they promised callbacks twice and vanished. I needed a dress for my sister’s wedding so I pre-ordered what I thought was the right size, mostly because my back/bust combo makes shopping annoying and I wanted to avoid returns if possible. Weirdly, the pre-order showed up months early (yay), but the size was too big — I’d ordered a 6 even though the site had me at an 8, long story, long story. I wanted to try a 4 just in case the waist/bust combo worked, but I needed to do that while I could still return the 6 (two-week window), because if the 4 was too tight I’d keep the 6.
So I called customer service, explained everything, and the rep was understanding — said she’d check if a 4 was already produced and would call me back. She said she’d call the next day. Didn’t happen. I gave them another day, called again, was told they’d follow up and call me back. Again, crickets. That’s the part that bugs me: the dress itself is lovely, the fabric is nice, the cut is flattering, and it arrived early, which I wasn’t expecting. But because nobody followed through, now I’m stuck doing major alterations on a dress that’s a little roomy.
Am I upset enough to never buy from them again? Not really — the product quality converted a lot of my scepticism into actual appreciation. Could their service be better? Absolutely. A simple callback would’ve saved me time, stress, and a seamstress bill. So, bottom line: buy the dress if you like the style, but be ready to follow up yourself on anything time-sensitive. And maybe bring a helmet for customer-service silence. Lesson learned.
Sketchy return, messy sash, awkward fix

Returns & Refundsit was the focus of their “damage” claim, like they zeroed in on it and ignored everything else. After the dispute things finally moved and I did get my money back, so I’m somewhat satisfied in the end, but it was way more hassle than it should’ve been. Bottom line: be cautious buying directly, double-check return policies, and keep receipts and photos. If you want less stress, buy from a store with a clear returns desk.
