I was actually impressed — not flawless, but perfectly acceptable. I ordered an adapter on a company account; something in the registration didn't line up. I phoned support and, shockingly, a real person answered in under two minutes. They sorted most of it that call, but not everything, so I had to ring back later the same day. Again, a quick, pleasant rep picked up and waived my shipping charge. GLS showed up at the door the next day. So yeah, stuff went sideways, but the time and effort to fix it mattered more than the hiccup. Thanks to the reps (Jaco and Belinda/Melinda) — if you're hesitating, call them; they actually help. I'm glad I didn't cancel the order; would've been extra hassle.

I called to confirm availability and the rep promised to follow up but I never got the list back, and I had a bit of trouble understanding him at times which slowed things down. I did email Element14 too and they replied quicker, so that comparison stung a little. Still, the parts arrived as expected and the prices were reasonable, so it’s usable — not perfect, needs clearer communication from support, but I’d use them again for another run and hope they tighten that up.

I haven’t checked my CCTV yet (I could), but I didn’t want to keep chasing. The moment I felt a little relieved — oddly satisfied — was when I rang RS. They didn’t fumble. They confirmed the shipment, told me what DHL reported, and let me cancel the order without a fuss. Quick refund promised. So I’m pleased with how RS handled the call, even if I’m not pleased with DHL. I’ll probably still buy from RS sometimes, but I’ll pick a different delivery option or ask for pickup next time. Told my friend about the mix: great seller, so-so delivery. Just saying.

It actually turned out okay, surprising as that sounds — I expected a train wreck but got something a lot more manageable. I first saw the items on their website because a colleague pinged me the link, saying they were "in stock" with one-day delivery, so I paid extra for guaranteed next-day since I needed the parts by week’s end. About thirty minutes later an email popped up saying they weren't stocked in the UK and would ship next week. I rang their customer line straight away and the rep was blunt and kept trying to upsell a different size that wouldn’t work for me; also, the call went to a non-UK number so I ended up with charges. Frustrating.
