New glasses
New glasses
ProductI bought a pair of glasses from this place not too long ago and man, was I ever let down by the service. First off, my glasses took forever to get here which was annoying. And when they finally showed up, there were marks on the lenses messing with my eyesight. I tried to get customer service to fix them up, but they straight up said no. All in all, my experience was awful and I wouldn't suggest this spot to anyone.

ProductSo listen, I gotta tell you, this was a total disaster of an experience. I ordered some glasses, specific style, fit, color, and prescription, and what I got was completely off the mark. It's like they mixed up my order with someone else's. How hard is it to get an order right? Customer service was a joke. Their availability is confusing - why even have a number if you're never there? Messaging them is a waste of time, all you get back is an automated response with the same useless phone number. This whole thing has left me super disappointed and frustrated. Definitely my first and last time ordering from them.
Glasses, try-on

ProductMy best friend and I got these awesome new glasses from a great place! My mom always struggled with buying glasses from the eye doctor, so we thought we'd give something different a shot. They let us try on the glasses at home, and it was really cool to see how they looked with all of our outfits. I usually have trouble with glasses being uncomfortable after wearing them for a bit, but these ones are so comfy! On top of that, the price was really reasonable. And when my BFF lost her glasses case, the customer service was amazing and sent her a new one for free.

ProductEven with the deal and using my FSA money, I'm honestly disappointed in these glasses. The lenses might be the right strength, but the quality is just awful. They make everything look curved and distorted, so I can't wear them for long. Plus, the frames don't stay on my face very well, leading to close calls like almost dropping them in the toilet or walking into stuff because they slip off. I even stubbed my toe really bad because I misjudged the distance while wearing them. The only good thing is they are pretty tough, surviving a few angry throws without getting damaged. But that just made me more frustrated since I couldn't even feel better by breaking them. Overall, I'm getting rid of these glasses and looking for a better, more reliable pair somewhere else.
High index prescription lenses
High index prescription lenses
ProductOh man, the customer service at that store was top-notch! The staff really knew their stuff and gave me some great advice on picking out frames that would work well with my face shape and style. The ones I ended up going with looked super well-made and stylish, so that was a win. But I gotta say, I was a bit bummed when I got the high index lenses and they turned out to be just as thick as my old standard ones. If you've got a high prescription like me and are in the market for high index lenses, you might want to explore other options before dropping cash at that place. Just a little heads up!
Non-progressive lenses with smaller frames
Non-progressive lenses with smaller frames
ProductI decided to give Liingo Eyewear another shot, and this time I went for non-progressive lenses with smaller frames to make my lenses less thick. I have to say, I'm really happy with how they turned out. The lenses are now 1/8 inch thinner, which is a big improvement from before. The new glasses with transitionals look really professional and sharp, much better than I thought they would.
