Weirdly expensive surprises

I hesitated, then shrugged and ordered to use the credit. That hesitation didn’t evaporate — it grew into a nagging feeling the minute I opened the box. The smell hit me (chemical, like a garage sale gone wrong), the box had weird stickers, stitching looked off, material felt different, and sizes didn’t match my other authentic pair. Also — two dust bags? My brain kept saying, “that’s not right.” I emailed them last time about a faulty dust bag and got a $70 credit and a friendly-but-vague response; that calmed me a little, but honestly now I’m back to square one and more suspicious than before. I don’t feel reassured. I half want to keep them because they’re... serviceable? But then I think about how much I paid and how wasteful that would be. It’s frustrating, borderline insulting. I’m asking for a refund and some real answers — not just another credit. If you’re particular about authenticity (like me, painfully so), maybe double- and triple-check before hitting buy.

Finally sorted, took longer than it should

Returns & Refunds

after a couple of persistent emails and one phone call to my bank to put pressure on the process, the company finally processed a full refund and confirmed it. The moment I saw the refund hit my account — that was when I knew things were actually resolved and I could stop worrying. I was relieved, plain and simple. I'm not thrilled about the back-and-forth or the delay, and the website could be clearer about stock levels, but the end result was what I needed: my money back and the issue closed.
What I appreciated was the final follow-through. They didn't fix everything super fast, but when they did act it was correct — refund, confirmation, and a short apology. So I'm left feeling grateful it didn't turn into a long-term headache, even though the experience could've been handled better from the start. Would I order again right away? Probably cautious — I'd check stock status and have a backup plan for time-sensitive stuff. Still, nice to have the situation resolved, and that counts for something.

Half-happy, half-annoyed moment

Returns & Refunds

the fabric and cut are nicer than the photos, not gimmicky, and it felt comfy right away. We did have a ridiculous amount of hassle getting there — had to pay to return the first one with DHL Express and spent ages on their chat trying to sort the tag situation — but once the Jacket was on, that eased up the annoyance a lot. I kept thinking about how weird the whole return story had been, and yeah, their communication was clunky, sometimes pointless, but the product itself redeemed a bunch of that friction. I still wish their customer service was easier to reach and less baffling, and I don’t love having to chase refunds or explanations. But at the point I actually wore the coat outside and got a couple nods from friends, I felt the purchase was worth it. Not perfect, certainly not smooth sailing, but when a coat fits and feels right, it changes the whole mood. Would I buy here again? Maybe — if I’m ready for a bit of a battle with support.

Kitchen-table doubts, mixed outcome

Returns & Refunds

the sale and return were inside the EU, so there shouldn’t be customs or import VAT in the way they described. I asked for documentation, asked them to explain, pointed to the EU consumer rules, and tried to get a phone number. At first they answered with contradictory reasons — VAT, then customs, then courier charges — and each reply felt more like fending off a question than actually helping. After I pushed a bit they just went quiet for weeks. On the positive side, the product quality and delivery were fine, and if you’re buying and not planning to return, this place can be okay. But if you do need to return something, expect a fight, unclear fees, and poor follow-up. My advice to others: buy only if you’re certain, or at least keep copies of tracking and expect to nag customer support. I wish they’d been transparent up front about potential deductions and shown the documents they claimed to have. A company that presents itself as premium should treat returns and VAT properly; sadly that’s where they fell short for me. Still, product = good, process = uneven.

Coat made it, belt didn’t — and the help was thin

Service

the Ludmilla itself arrived and it’s lovely, but the belt was missing and the customer service made me want to tear my hair out. We actually needed this coat for an upcoming trip — my wife has a bad shoulder and wanted something warm and structured to help with posture, plus it’s almost impossible to find the exact style again. So yeah, we spent the money and felt justified. The coat came in a box that looked like someone tried to fit a mattress into a shoe box. It was wrinkled, not wrecked, and honestly I’m relieved it held up. But the leather belt, the one worth a couple hundred, was nowhere to be found. I asked for the belt, plain and simple. That’s the conclusion first: the product mostly survived, the missing part did not, and the follow-up was a mess.
They sent a video showing the coat and a packing slip, which is fine, but it didn’t show the whole packing or the actual box, so it felt like a half-answer. After several back-and-forth messages, they finally admitted the parcel might have been tampered with in transit. Good, that explains it. But then came the twist: they insisted I return the whole coat before they’d even consider anything. Return the coat my wife loves and that I can’t replace? No. I kept asking for the belt only and got stuck in a loop. Weeks went by. I was frustrated, wary of returns, and honestly a bit grateful the coat itself was wearable — so that’s the small win here. Still, for a high-end purchase you expect straightforward help. Service needs to improve. I’ll try consumer protection if it comes to that, but for now I’m left relieved the coat wasn’t ruined and annoyed that getting the belt feels like climbing a hill for no reason.
