Chessboards purchase
Chessboards purchase
CommunicationMy recent experience buying chessboards from House of Staunton's clearance sale was a bummer. My wife ordered two, and one was good but the other had way too many flaws. What bugs me is that they didn't say anything about those imperfections on their site. Other places like chessbazaar are upfront about what you're getting in their clearance sales, so no surprises there. I've never gotten a bad product from them because they're clear about it. House of Staunton, on the other hand, shows off perfect boards in their photos but sends out flawed ones. I tried reaching out to their customer service with pics of the problems but haven't heard back.
