OverallBottom line, I'm hooked — Gem Jewelers quickly became my go-to for jewellery I actually love. I picked up a couple of diamond flexi bangles and a tennis necklace last fall, and every piece feels solid and properly made, not flimsy at all. Once I needed a tiny fit tweak on a necklace; their staff were patient, really kind, and actually went the extra mile to fix it. Prices for natural diamonds seem fair given the quality, and their service is great too. Ordering and delivery were smooth and quick, which made the whole thing easy. I’ll be back for sure — hoping for a Black Friday deal, fingers crossed. Seriously, shop with confidence.

PriceI’m glad I took the chance — but I was pretty skeptical at first about buying a big diamond online. I actually found Gem Jewelers through a buddy’s Instagram post and he tipped me off, so I called Joe. He explained everything without the hard sell, sent a ring sizer the next day, and the ring showed up the following Friday — real fast. The 2.5 carat eternity band looks way better than I expected; the stones are bright and firey, and the price beat Zales/Jared/Kay by a lot. Only minor thing was the site was a bit clunky, but customer service more than made up for it. My wife loves it.

Servicegood fit, good finish. I was nervous at first but then relieved. Follow-ups were steady; someone checked the tracking and confirmed delivery. Joe handled most of it well.

PriceI found this place online and sort of gambled on a graduated diamond tennis necklace — glad I did. The necklace itself looks really solid, not flimsy, and the stones have a nice sparkle without feeling over-the-top. What really made it doable was their payment plan; splitting it up took the pressure off and let me buy something nicer than I would have otherwise. Shipping took a couple of weeks, which was fine, and the customer replies were casual and helpful. If you want something high-quality without stressing your wallet, give them a look. Not perfect — had a tiny miscommunication — but overall very pleased.

Returns & RefundsJessica walked me through choices, answered my newbie questions, and even nudged me to order a day early because of expected tariff-related price hikes — true to their word, prices went up the next day. They also applied a Labour Day discount and a new-customer credit, and threw in a free pair of 1 ct total diamond studs, which was a nice surprise, not that I expect freebies often. Now the more critical bit: the platinum necklaces being final sale — that annoyed me a little. It’s risky, right? No 14-day return on platinum while gold pieces have it. I got lucky and picked the right size and weight, but I’d advise anyone else to double-check that policy before clicking buy, seriously. Overall the piece arrived as described, a few days early, nicely packaged, my wife loved it — she really did, that warm little smile, so worth it. Would I buy here again? Yes, especially for the selection and the people like Jessica, but I’d want clearer return terms on pricey platinum items.

Servicethey were relaxed, not pushy, and the guy at the bench sized my watch in five minutes. He wouldn't take any money, which honestly caught me off guard; that little kindness made me stay in touch. A few months later I started looking for an engagement ring for my fiancée. When I was ready they helped me pick something solid and explained the differences without sounding salesy. I compared a few other places and they beat most on price. Delivery was pretty fast — two business days — and the ring was nicely wrapped, though the outer box had a small dent. Customer service was the real win: Joe answered texts, called to confirm sizing, and even followed up later. Only mild gripe: tracking updates lagged a bit so I worried unnecessarily. Overall very positive — honest people, fair price, I’ll be back.
