I was scrolling on my lunch break when a friend sent me a link to a bridesmaid dress — thought, okay, why not. I ordered two sizes because I'm indecisive. Kept one, sent the other back right away and followed their return steps. Then crickets. No confirmation, nothing, so I had to chase them about a month later. They said they had it, still no refund for ages. I reached out a few more times, getting a bit annoyed, and honestly I was ready to write it off. Then, finally, the refund hit my account and I remember that weird relief — like, okay, it actually worked. So not perfect, but the end result made me happy. I even tipped my sister about it afterward.

I opened the box thinking I’d finally have the perfume I ordered for our anniversary — needed something to lift the mood after hauling boxes all weekend — and instead got a small candle and a handful of samples. Cute candle, really, but not the point. I get mistakes happen, sure, but the tone-deaf part was being told I have to box it up and return it myself if I want a refund. So now I’m supposed to use my time and gas to fix their error? Not great. I did chuckle that the candle smelled nice while I argued on hold, but honestly it made the whole thing more annoying. Would’ve preferred they offer pick-up or a simple refund without me jumping through hoops. Lesson learned — check the parcel before you celebrate.
