I almost talked myself out of ordering — no reviews I could find, overseas seller, customs, all that. I’d bought a couple of tiny pieces from one of their Hong Kong shops years ago and remembered the solid 999.9 gold feeling, so that nudged me to try their online store for a 30th birthday charm. Still, I was nervous about whether the online photos would match reality and how long it would take to get here. Turns out those worries faded fast. The charm arrived in about a week from HK, which felt pretty quick, and the paperwork that came with it was really thorough so I could see it was the real deal. Packaging was ridiculous in a good way — so secure I had to use a knife to get in, and the gift box and bag looked way nicer than what I’d expect from most local jewellers. The only real annoyance was the import duty — for the UK it was about 22.5% and FedEx paid it up front, then billed me. Not fun, but also not unexpected. There was a sale so I didn’t pay shipping, which helped. Overall I’m pleased — a little more relaxed about buying from them again, and definitely feels like an actual investment rather than costume stuff.
