Almost cabin, mostly drama
Almost cabin, mostly drama
Productscratches. Big ones. So yeah, my "forever" bag looked loved after one trip. Customer service shrugged and told me to have read the specs — helpful. Still, I will admit the wheels are silky smooth and the handle saves my shoulders, so it’s not a total disaster. Mostly I’m annoyed but a little grateful it at least rolls like a dream. I’d warn future buyers to double-check sizes and expectations.
Smaller pocket, bigger relief

Productmy 16-inch laptop, with a thin sleeve, fit snugly and everything else packed around it without drama. First impression was mixed, sure, but the leather looked and felt great right away, and by the time I zipped it closed I was actually relieved. Support explained the wording on the site, a bit awkward, but they were clear and polite. Bottom line — not the organizer I imagined, but for me it turned into a handsome, simple weekender that works. Glad I gave it a chance.

Returns & Refundsthe “lifetime” promise didn’t mean much when it mattered. I first noticed Carl Fredrik on a travel blog and my sister actually urged me to buy one — it looked sharp in pictures. Took the case out three times and on the third trip a corner buckled after routine handling. I opened a claim and the reply basically said any damage that happens while an airline has the bag is carrier mishandling, so their lifetime cover won’t help unless it breaks while sitting at home. That’s a weird definition of lifetime cover. I’ve owned much cheaper luggage that survived years and the few times I had problems they were swapped out without fuss. Here, the corner clearly needs better reinforcement and the company didn’t own up. The customer support was polite enough but stuck to that line and didn’t offer a decent fix, so I was left annoyed and a bit let down — especially given the price. If you want something that actually holds up or a guarantee that means something, think twice.
Locked out after the warranty runaround
Locked out after the warranty runaround
Servicetheir warranty support left me stranded with locked suitcases — not great. I bought this lock because I travel a lot and, honestly, I’ve got a bum knee so digging through other bags or hauling everything around isn’t an option. The lock felt solid when I bought it and worked fine initially, but about five weeks ago it stopped responding on one side. I came home with all my things inside and then started the ordeal. Their emails are basically a loop: “try every code from 000 to 999” — which I did, and which I told them multiple times (six times, to be exact). I also told them the code works on the other side, so it’s not forgotten. Still, I get the same canned reply and no real help. Nobody explains how a TSA key would let you reset the thing if you need the code to reset it — seems like a basic oversight. Buying was smooth and sales were helpful, so this shift in post-sales support is surprising. I’m a little disappointed but not totally done; the product itself isn’t awful, it’s just the support that’s the problem. They could fix this with a clear reset procedure or an actual human response.

ServiceI sent a question and Magda replied quickly, clearly human and straightforward — that actually made me trust the brand more. I’ve since added the Smart Holder, so yeah, I’m assembling a small collection. Do I think every piece is perfect? No — price is still a sticking point — but the build and the practical design eased my doubts. Overall I’m glad I tried them; modest enthusiasm, and I’ll keep buying for work travel.
Not what I expected, in a good way

ServiceI nearly pulled the plug after one too many delivery disasters from other shops — lost tracking, “processing” for days, the usual drama. So I braced myself but this time it was different. The case arrived on schedule, neatly packed (no useless extra plastic), and the tracking updates were actually helpful — I checked it like an idiot anyway, but still. The bit that won me over was customer service. I had a tiny question about a wobbling wheel and messaged support; a rep called Magda replied fast, didn’t put me on hold or pass me along, and arranged a replacement part without me having to chase. That level of follow-through is rare and made me go from skeptical to properly pleased. The suitcase handles great at the airport, people do ask where it’s from, and it feels built to last. Is it a bit pricier than the bargain brands? Yes, but you pay for fewer headaches. All in all, great delivery and service — worth it if you’ve been burned elsewhere before.
