I just bought the level 3 special threat plates and I gotta say, I'm really happy with them. They're super light and not bulky, which makes it easy to adjust on my gear. The curved shape fits nicely, but I wish there was a bit more curve near the neck area. I hope I never have to actually use these plates in a dangerous situation, but they seem sturdy and the coating is nice and even. The quick shipping and decent price are also a plus, especially since they're basically lightweight level 4 plates. I'd suggest these plates to anyone looking for good protection.

The body armor plates are lighter than other plates that cost two or three times as much. They are multi-curve and fit well, providing good protection. However, I wish they were NIJ certified instead of just tested to a standard. Certification adds credibility, and I would feel more secure with that assurance. Nevertheless, based on the durability I've seen them go through, I would still trust my life with them.
