Got the heart-shaped emerald drop earrings today for my wife's 20th wedding anniversary. Really liked how they were packaged, there's even a light that shines on the jewelry when you open the box. But when the ring came in, the stone was so bland and pale. It didn't have that pop of color and richness that I was counting on. I shelled out over $600 for this ring, but honestly, I felt like I got ripped off. It was either a fake stone or just the worst kind of amethyst out there. I've tried polishing it up, but it hasn't done a thing to bring back its shine. I wish I could take a pic to show you just how underwhelming this stone really is.
