MEL Science - Reviews and experiences

The science kits I bought for homeschooling my kid were a great supplement to our lessons. They came with everything we needed and the instructions were mostly straightforward. We did run into a couple of problems like a broken connector and a leaky bottle, but they weren't too big of a deal. However, after a few years of using them, my daughter lost interest and now we have a bunch of unopened kits gathering dust. Maybe we'll go back to them later on, but for now, they're just sitting there unused.

I was really excited about signing my kids up for the chemistry and physics subscription boxes, but unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The chemistry subscription started off well and was really interesting and educational at first, but as time went on, the quality seemed to go downhill. The boxes weren't matching up with the live lessons anymore, some were repetitive, and a few seemed like they were lacking in content. This made us decide to cancel the subscription because we were let down by the lack of fun and diverse materials.<br><br>When we thought about trying the physics subscription for my daughter, things seemed promising at first. The boxes were really cool and she loved them. But our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we started getting chemistry kits instead of physics ones. Even after we brought this up, we were told that the chemistry kits were just as good, even though that's not what we wanted. It's frustrating to not get what you paid for and be told to settle for something less than what you expected.<br><br>If it wasn't for these issues, we would have kept both subscriptions going without any hesitation.
