So, odd story — I sent my laptop in for a warranty repair and at first I was furious because they sent a beat-up unit back. I called, they admitted the mix-up and arranged a proper replacement (not just store credit), and I started using it that afternoon. The moment I knew I was satisfied was when I booted it up and everything ran smooth — apps loaded fast, battery behaved, no weird noises. It's not flawless (tiny scuff, took a bit longer than expected, had to call twice), but it works great now and I'm relieved.

I needed cash fast for a last-minute move, so I sent my 2015 MacBook in. I paid $15 to get a box and mailed it off. The device arrived fine, or so I thought. Their techs claimed it had “lots” of scratches and was missing multiple feet, when really it only lacked one small rubber foot. Customer service shrugged and the settlement was tiny — $20.25. You can ask for it back but you pay to ship it. Delivery of the box was straightforward, but the whole evaluation and support felt arbitrary. Relieved I had another backup, but disappointed overall.
