Not what I expected, but not all bad
Not what I expected, but not all bad
Qualitytwenty minutes after dinner, sometimes more if a teacher assigned it. At first my worries stuck — it did feel like busywork, and it definitely added stress on nights we already had lots of homework. Kids groan, I groan, same old. That said, there was a surprise: the little diagnostics picked up a gap in decimals that I hadn't noticed, and a few targeted exercises actually helped him move past it. So it’s not totally useless, but the way it’s pushed on students (and on parents) makes it worse than it needs to be. If you homeschool, I’d be cautious about making it a staple; if you’re a teacher, think twice before assigning it as mandatory practice. Overall, honest: helps in spots, but the stress and repetitive feel are real. Could be okay if used sparingly and with teacher guidance.
